WTCBN launches funding award program to increase international sales for area companies
Providing financial assistance to small and medium-sized businesses to help them increase their exports is the focus of the National Export Initiative (NEI) that aims to create 2 million jobs by doubling exports over the next five years. World Trade Center Buffalo Niagara (WTCBN) supports the NEI and has secured a new round of funding in order to assist companies in the Western New York region with their marketing and business development efforts.
The Local Access to Global Markets (LAGM) program provides matching funds to engage WTCBN in developing your export sales. With limited funding opportunities available the grants are offered on a first-come first-served basis. Current WTCBN members receive a discounted rate on consulting projects.
Eastman Machine Company, Rigidized Metals Corporation, Dynabrade, Kee Industrial Products of Buffalo, Sherex Industries of Tonawanda, and Inex of Holland have received assistance through the Local Access to Global Markets program in the past. Now, with a new round of funding from New York State, your company has the opportunity to receive matching grant funding for a project that will increase your international sales. The scope of services for your project is determined jointly by you and WTCBN.
