USMCA Information and Resources

The new USMCA replaces the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) when it comes into effect on July 1, 2020. The agreement brings new rules and requirements, updates and upgrades more relevant to the way we do business 25 years after NAFTA was signed, and parameters to better position Canada, Mexico and the United States in the global economy.

Learn more about recent WTCBN programs and resources to help companies understand what they should be doing now to prepare before the agreement goes into effect on July 1st

USMCA Certificate of Origin Form

With July 1st quickly approaching, many companies still have questions about their requirements to claim their imports as duty-free under the new agreement. Since the USMCA does not require a specified format for the certificate-of-origin, we have prepared a fillable template with instructions for your convenience – hopefully, the form will help smooth your transition from NAFTA to USMCA.

If you’d like us to send you the certificate-of-origin template, please contact us to request this file.

Thank you to Welke Customs Brokers USA for collaborating with us on preparing the document for our members.
